CBO – Experts Program

The Omani Economic and Financial Experts Program launched by the Central Bank of Oman offers job seekers scholarships for both Master’s and Doctoral degrees in the fields of Economics and Finance. The program is managed by Takatuf Oman, a subsidiary of the Oman Investment Authority.

Aim:

This scholarship program aims at providing the job market with highly qualified specialized talent in the areas of financial and economic analysis. This, in turn, will enhance efficiency and quality in performance as well as improve frameworks and methods of planning, execution, and related procedures in the financial and economic fields. In one hand, this will go in line with the national aspirations; and on the other hand, it will help overcome the significant challenges posed by rapid changes locally and globally.

Application:

Interested candidates must have obtained admission to a master or doctoral study program in the fields of Economics or Finance or related fields of study, as per the approved list of programs and universities. The application form must be filled electronically in English through the link provided. Afterwards, applicants must complete any further steps required by Takatuf Oman, which manages the program for CBO.
